と思ったら、「ビッチェズ・バーベキュー」。
さすが豪州の変態ペア、キモい課長とスケベ先生による
変態グランドコアユニット「痴漢シェフ」。
彼らの新作がBANDCAMPにてオンライン公開になりました。

Wait, WTF? it's Chikan Chef's Bitches BBQ!
The latest delicacy prepared by the culinary creeps of Chikan Chef, a grindcore unit of Japan-wandering Aussies, recently released on Bandcamp.
僕はメンバーから事前にも音源聴かされていて、
録音の裏話や歌詞の解説を教えてもらったりもして、
かなりの楽しみだった。
この時世なので、来日することすらできず、ライブもできないので、
フィジカルリリースはツアーができるまで待つこととし、
今回はBandcampのオンラインリリースのみ。
I had heard the tracks a few times before it was released, and heard stories about the recording process and the ideas behind the lyrics, so I was super stoked for it to come out. Since they can't get together and tour due to the ongoing apocalypse, there's no physical release at the moment, just digital.
グラインドコアと言っても、音楽性へ影響を与えているアーティストは
フランク・ザッパやら、ミスター・バングル、きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅなんかも
重要らしい。なので「よくある」とか、「おもんない」とか、
「曲が全部一緒に聞こえる」と思える時間が一秒もないわけ。
The "grindcore" of these guys may not be what you expect. I understand that some of the major influences on their songwriting are Frank Zappa, Mr. Bungle, and even Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
テクニカルかつあほらしい
かわいいかつ下品
シンプルかつ濃厚
メタルかつパンク
Technical yet stupid as f. Cute yet vulgar. Simple yet deep. Metal yet punk.
すべてで13曲、ちょうど9分だから
この津波が一瞬で終わっちゃうところだけが欠点だといえる。
いや、グラインドコアなので短いのは誉め言葉だよね。
この長さだからぜひ7インチで作ってほしいよね。
The 13 tracks clock in at a total of about 9 minutes. That's the only weak point of this release, that the tsunami of madness ends too quickly. Now that I think about, that's a compliment for a grindcore album.
あ、もう一つの欠点を思い出した。
歌詞が載っていないこと。
曲ごとの歌詞はかなりおもろ天才なのに。
とりあえず曲名から想像してみてください。
そもそも曲名やばいから。
詳しくはフィジカルを待つしかないのか。
あるいはツアーで来るときに本人に聞くこと。
Well, there is one more flaw in my opinion. They didn't include the lyrics. Hearing the stories behind the shouting, these guys are hilarious geniuses. I guess you'll have to settle for the great song names for now.

醤油シューイとか。シューイわかりますか？
オーストラリアの有名な伝統的なお酒の飲み方、
「Shoey」とは、一気飲みさせたい友達に、靴を脱がせ、
ビールを靴にいっぱい入れ、飲ませることである。
ひどい趣味だね。
ほんでそれを醤油でやると？？
I really like the title "Soy-sauce Shoey". I'll have to explain a "shoey" to non-Australian readers: when some pours a beer in your shoe and makes you chug the whole thing. Yes, a fine Australian tradition.
あと、お気に入りなのは大阪の重鎮ハードコアバンド
PALMのボーカルTOSHIさんがゲストボーカルを務める
「DIBBER DABBER DOG CUNT」。米国人の俺はどういう
意味かよくわかっていないけど、語呂がよくて、
オーストラリア人に言ったら怒られそうだから、
近々オーストラリア人に言ってみたいと思う。
この曲はキモい課長とトシさんの声が対照的で気持ちいい。
だけどこんなキモい作品に参加したトシさんは
大きな恥をかいていることでしょう。
I also really like the song "Dibber Dabber Dog Cunt." It features Toshi from Osaka's premiere hardcore band Palm, whose voice sounds awesome against Kimoi Kacho's screams. And the title/chorus part is really fun to say. Although I'm not sure who I can say it too without getting beat up. An American like me has no idea what it even means.

自分のスタジオで担当した。
最近のフレンザルのアルバムを聞けばわかる
と思いますが、最高！！！の音質のモダンサウンド
になっている。
The album was recorded under lock-down by Jay the vocalist of Frenzal Rhomb at his studio. Just listen to Frenzal Rhomb's latest release to get a feel of the modern high-quality production that has graced Chikan Chef.
残念なことに回りの日本の友達でフレンザルを知っている
人が少ないようですが、いわばオーストラリアのハイスタですね。
同じファットレックのレーベルメイトでもあるし。
メロコアキッズは聞かずにメロコアずきと言う資格ないことでしょう。
（って、僕はそんなにメロコア聞いてないからいう立場ではないけどｗ）
Most of my Japanese friends, even those who like pop-punk, know nothing about Frenzal Rhomb, which is too bad, because they are so fuckin good. To be fair, I didn't know anything either until a couple of dibber dabber dog cunts introduced me to them.
やばいパロディーアートワークは、
オーストラリアのGlennoという絵描き巨匠が書いた。
僕のバンドTERRIBLE JOKEのアートワークも書いてくれた。
とにかく大好き。彼も最高なバンドをやっている。
CHINESE BURNS UNITという。それもとにかく好き。
GLENNOの次の来日も待ちきれない。
